2021Oplo launches Customer Account Management Area to give customers more than just a loan.
20201st Stop rebrands to Oplo - and breaks through £250m of lending.
2017£150m of lending being made available to customers.
2016Investment from Pollen Street Capital helps to drive significant growth.
2014Tops £25m of total lending to customers.
2014Further expansion of products sees unsecured Personal Loans offered to homeowners.
20121st Stop lending over £5m to customers.
2012Car Finance products introduced to expand the offering to 1st Stop customers.
20091st Stop launches with Home Loans in the secured loan market.

We’re on a mission to the become the UK’s largest lender to the emerging ‘new mainstream’ market of consumers looking for credit.
Oplo has already grown to over £350m assets under management and is well on track to become the largest direct-to-consumer lender of its type in the UK.

Our Purpose

We’re passionate about using responsible lending to provide a financially fair way for people to access the finance they need to unlock their true potential and realise the vision they have for their lives.
Over the last year, we’ve seen almost 20,000 customers improve their credit score. By becoming stronger borrowers, our customers can access even more opportunities to power their potential.

Awards and Accreditations

Great customer service shouldn’t be a one-time deal. The Feefo Platinum Trusted Service award recognises Oplo’s commitment to putting customers first, time after time. As it reflects the views of our valued customers we're particularly proud of this one.
In our first year of entry, this accreditation was about recognising where we are today from real customer and employee feedback. Our silver award has led us to create an action plan, opening the door to immediate improvements and greater loyalty. We’re going for gold!
The Credit Services Association (CSA) led program that annually benchmarks individual team members’ knowledge, expertise, and compliance to ensure that the credit industry maintains the highest standards.
The Credit & Collections Technology Awards recognise excellence and innovation in the UK credit and collections industry. Oplo were over the moon to win the Customer Engagement Solution Award 2020 against some tough competition.
In 2021, amidst all the change in our industry and our society, the Credit Excellence Awards, in association with Esendex, showcased all that is best about the work done by the credit, collections, and enforcement industry. Oplo were proud to win the Collections Award.
